Cook the linguine until nearly tender, 6-8 minutes, then drain. Reserve a little pasta water if desired.Melt 2 tbsp butter with 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.Add the shallots, garlic, and optional red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring, until the shallots are translucent, 3-4 minutes.Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until pink, 2-3 minutes. Transfer the shrimp to a plate and keep warm.Add the wine and lemon juice to the skillet. Bring to a boil, scraping up the browned bits from the pan.Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp olive oil; bring to a simmer.Return the shrimp to the skillet. Add the linguine and parsley and toss until evenly coated. Season to taste and drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil before serving.
